Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Proactiva platform at proactiva.app. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. Please read the section on what Proactiva is not — it matters for your safety.
1. Service provider
The service is provided by the Proactiva project team. The official legal entity details, registration number and registered address will be published on this page before the platform is officially launched. Contact: info@proactiva.app.
2. In an emergency, do not use Proactiva
Proactiva is not an emergency service and is not monitored in real time. If you experience chest pain, difficulty breathing, sudden weakness, heavy bleeding, loss of consciousness or any other acute symptoms, call 112 immediately or go to the nearest emergency department. Never delay seeking urgent care because of anything shown in this platform.
3. What Proactiva is, and what it is not
Proactiva helps you store your laboratory results in one place, understand them in plain language and follow how they change over time. It is an informational and preventive-health tool. It is not a medical device, it does not provide medical care, and it does not replace consulting a physician. No result, chart or explanation in the platform is a diagnosis.
4. AI interpretation and its limits
Explanations of your results are generated by artificial-intelligence models. AI can misread a document, misinterpret a value or miss context that a clinician would notice. AI output is informational only and is never a diagnosis, a treatment plan or a prescription. Medical conclusions may be drawn only by a licensed physician. Where two models assess a marker differently, the platform shows you that disagreement rather than hiding it.
5. Doctor review and consultations
Where the service includes review by a physician, that physician is a licensed specialist who assesses your data independently. A doctor's assessment takes precedence over any AI output. A consultation creates a relationship between you and that physician; Proactiva provides the platform, not the medical care itself. Availability, response times and the scope of consultations are described before you confirm an order.
6. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you upload and for keeping your login credentials confidential. Do not upload another person's health data unless you have a legal basis to do so. Notify us at info@proactiva.app if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
7. Your data
Health data is special-category personal data under Article 9 of the GDPR and is handled accordingly. How it is collected, stored and erased is described in the Privacy Policy and the GDPR information page, which form part of these terms. You may export your data or delete your account and all associated data at any time from your profile.
8. Plans and payment
The platform offers a free plan and a paid Premium plan. The exact price, billing period and what each plan includes are shown before you confirm an order, and you are charged only after you confirm. Paid features are not active until the platform is officially launched.
9. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or to other users' data, do not disrupt its operation, and do not use it to provide medical services to third parties. We may suspend an account that is used in breach of these terms or in a way that endangers other users' data.
10. Liability
The platform is provided as an informational tool and we do not guarantee that AI-generated explanations are complete or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions you make on the basis of information in the platform without consulting a physician. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for damage to health caused intentionally or by gross negligence.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service develops. Material changes will be communicated in the platform or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania. We aim to resolve any dispute through negotiation; write to info@proactiva.app. If agreement cannot be reached, the dispute is heard by the courts of the Republic of Lithuania. Consumers may also apply to the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority.
